Where the Stones Come From

A diamond is only as good as its paperwork and its origin. This page sets out where STIG Inter PH Inc. stones come from, who inspects them, and which frameworks govern the trade around them.

Only conflict-free diamonds

The Kimberley Process is an international certification system that prevents the trade in conflict diamonds. Every STIG Inter PH Inc. stone is fully traceable and comes from responsibly certified sources.

The Kimberley Process governs rough diamond trade between participating countries. It is a sourcing safeguard, not a quality grade.

From source to sealed stone

Each step leaves a document behind, and each document names the stone it belongs to.

  1. Responsibly sourced

Stones originate from suppliers operating under the Kimberley Process, in participating markets.

  2. Independently graded

Eligible diamonds carry GIA certification recording carat, cut, colour and clarity, with a report number you can verify yourself.

  3. Traded under DMCC rules

Trade and logistics run through the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre framework, the region's regulated commodities authority.

  4. Stored under SIRA oversight

Storage and security arrangements fall under the Security Industry Regulatory Agency's licensing regime.

The bodies involved

Four independent organisations touch the process. None of them endorses STIG Inter PH Inc., and none guarantees a price — each one governs a specific part of the chain.

GIA
Gemological Institute of America — independent diamond grading
Kimberley Process
International conflict-free sourcing certification
DMCC

SIRA
Security Industry Regulatory Agency — storage and security licensing

Verify it yourself

Never take a certificate on trust because someone showed it to you. Check the report number on GIA's own Report Check service, reached by typing gia.edu into your browser — not through a link that was sent to you.

What these frameworks do and do not mean

Certification and regulatory oversight describe origin, characteristics, and the rules governing trade and storage. They are not a valuation, a guarantee of resale price, or an endorsement of any seller. STIG Inter PH Inc. is not a financial product; it concerns natural diamonds as tangible assets.
